HI Patrick,
That is very odd, as it says in the log that it is picking up on a VPN. I will investigate and see if there might be something that can cause a false negative.
The problem definitely arises when the monitoring is supposed to kick in, as the startup is all fine but it does not go beyond it. Does this problem occur when you have a browser open at the same time that you start Jaksta or when you are streaming something, or does it occur when you open Jaksta on its own and then go to use the internet?
In the meantime, you could try the following:
- Make sure you are you running Jaksta from the top level of your Applications folder (ie. it should not be inside a sub-folder in Applications)
- Check that your Download Location and Conversion Location in the Preferences are set to a place that still exists and is accessible (ie. be certain that you don't have the downloads directed to an external drive that is no longer connected)
- Try using different browsers
- Try reinstalling the software

Hi Patrick,
It appears that Jaksta has detected that you are running a VPN. If that is the case, try turning it off and see if that fixes it.
Sometimes a VPN can interfere with the program - because it is all internet traffic and streaming etc., it can get chaotic and cause problems.
Give that a go and see if it helps.

I have this same problem with 1.5.1(205) when monitoring. I have attached my log. I am running OS X Sierra on an iMac
Hi,
The next time this occurs, can you send us the log file? You can find it by going to the Preferences and clicking the Find Log File button.
Thanks,
Ben

So I just bought Jaksta Music Recorder and I seem to notice something that was a bit off. Whenever I would turn the monitor on, it would always say that the internet connection is not secure. I know I'm not the only one who has had this problem but I've tried all of the most logical solutions. I went to the local host server: http://localhost/jaksta.cer that didn't work. I tried downloading the most recent version of the product, that didn't work. I don't seem to know what's wrong with the program. If somebody could help me solve this problem, I'd be forever grateful.
