Hi,

for years I was able to download content from the ZDF Mediatek using the Jaksta Media Recorder for the Mac.

Last week ZDF changed their web design. Now I cannot download ZDF content anymore.

Is there a way to allow Jaksta to download media from the new ZDF Mediatek website?

Sorry for the long delay!

You are right, unfortunately it does not look like we can capture from ZDF at the moment. We will look at adding back support for this site in the future if we can.

Hi Detlef,

My Jaksta does still record as usual; when clicking on a video, it doesn't play until you click the start arrow, but it does record without any issues. I usually do it from here: https://www.zdf.de/sendung-verpasst, then click on what I want to record.

Hi Andrew,

I have 2 iMacs. On both Jaksta is not downloading videos from the link you provided.

One is a 2009 iMac running 10.11.6 and the other is a 2013 iMac running 10.12.2.

The settings "Always Record HTTP" and "Always Record RTMP" make no difference.

On both I have Jaksta version 1.3.3. (139) installed.

From other websites Jaksta is still downloading as usual.
