all i get trying to open is a spinning beachball once the first page is showing

Hi Steven,

Have you done an OS upgrade or installed a virus scanner recently?

Can you first download Jaksta again and reinstall it:
https://www.jaksta.com/download/mac/jaksta-media-recorder

If that does not work, can you try logging into your machine under a different user and installing and running Jaksta under that user? Does this make a difference?
