Hi Michael,
Are you trying to run Jaksta Media Recorder or Jaksta Music Recorder/Music Miner?

Hi again,
Also, another thing you can check is the Security and Privacy settings in System Preferences.
Under General, if 'Allows apps downloaded from:' is set to 'Mac App Store', then that might cause problems. If it is, click on the padlock down the bottom and change it to 'Mac app store and identified developers' and save it.
That might make the difference.

Hi Michael,
I am just posting your previous reply here, as it went through to our email tickets. To prevent it from happening again, just make sure you come back to the forum thread to respond rather than replying to the email notification.
I should have something else you can try or an answer shortly.

MICHAEL:
Hi Liam,
I am trying to run the Media recorder. My System Preferences are correct.
Again I am running OS 10.12.3 on a MBP 13” Retina 2015.
Thanks,
Michael
Hi again Micahel,
Have you tried downloading several times? Or was it just the one the time? It may be that the download was corrupted and you just need to try again.
Let me know.

Yes I've tried several times and still get the "X" on download and on trying to install.
Hi Michael,
Have you tried setting the "Allow apps downloaded from' to 'Anywhere'? You shouldn't need to do it, but if having it on the normal setting doesn't work then that is the next thing to try. Then download the installer again and let me know the result.
