Hi Bob,
Are you able to provide a link to an example that you are having trouble with?
A log file as well as a screenshot would be handy as well. Log file can be found in Preferences > General > Find Log File (button down bottom right corner) in Jaksta.

link is Kelbyone.com there is a trial version to test it out
Hi Bob,
A few things you can check for me.
Firstly, is the downloaded file itself a reasonable size or is it tiny (0-10ish KB)? If it is, then that means the download itself has failed, which is why the conversion is then no good.
Your log file is indicating that is has detected a VPN. Are you running one? If you are, try turning it off as they can often interfere with web traffic and the download process. If you are not, then it might just be a false positive and we may need to look more into it.
If the download was successful but the conversion was not, you should still be able to play the downloaded file in something like VLC. Going off the log file, this appears to be the case.
I was able to successfully download the intro video on the home page, so it might just be something that is affecting you.

not running a VPN. The files run 5mb to 12 mb appears in my folder as a mp3 so it plays as a audio file but no video
Hi Bob,
What is your current conversion setting? Is it Default, MP3 or something else?
You can see it down the bottom left hand corner of the main screen.
Something else you can try is right clicking on the downloaded file and selecting Convert (safe), which is a kind of forced conversion.
You could also try sending through the downloaded MP3 and I can test the conversion and see if I get the same result.
If you are not running a VPN, are you operating anything else that may be affecting the proxy settings?
