Just upgraded to Sierra and it still does not work.

Have you tried doing a reinstall at any point? If there is a break in the programs operations then a fresh install should reset it.
Have you had this problem for basic, standard streaming sites, such as YouTube? And do you have the same problem even in different browsers?

Hi--Youtube works ok. I tried FireFox and the results are the same. YouTube works but some other sites do not. I will not try to reinstall again.
Just tried your screen recorder and it doesn't work either! Got this error message.

If it is working for some sites like YouTube and not for others, then it probably is due to the streaming setup of the sites that you are having problems with, and not Jaksta itself. Sometimes the sites change the way their streams are delivered, and to adapt to this we would build and release an update.
Very soon we are planning on releasing a upgrade to the next version of Jaksta, which will contain a lot of fixes for various sites. It will be a paid upgrade, but there will be a discounted price offered to existing users. We will be sending out a notification after it is released which you should receive. If you do not want to reinstall your current version of Jaksta to see if that fixes it, then your best bet may to sit tight and wait for the upgrade. If it still does not work, you will be eligible for a refund.
From your screenshot it looks as if you were trying to using the Screen Recorder to capture something on Netflix. It is not surprising that you got an error, as Netflix has found some way to detect when the screen recorder is active and blocks the stream. We are yet to find a way around this unfortunately, but the screen recorder should work for just about anything else.

Just started Jaksta and a message came up that there was an upgrade. I upgraded and it asked for my activation Key. I put in my original version activation key and it did not work and now the original version has been deactivated. Help!

I have just sent you an email with the activation code you should be using.
When the update notice comes up it should say that the upgrade to V2.0 is a paid upgrade and to receive a discounted price for being an existing user, you will need your original activation code. This is the one that I have just sent you.
Once you have purchased the new 2.0 license, you should be supplied with a new activation code which you would use to activate the upgrade.
Did you go through this process, or did you just download the new installer and run it?
Rest easy though, I will help you get through this either way.

Apparently I downloaded version 2.0 because I was told it was an upgrade. I am not interested in paying for another version. Now my version 1 has been deactivated and the code you supplied me won't work for version 2. Can you send me the link to re-download version 1?

If you want to revert to the 1.5.1 version, you can download the installer here: http://download.shedworx.com/jaksta/beta/Jaksta-1.5.1.pkg
Your original activation key should work for that.
You will most likely encounter the same problem with the 1.5.1 version. What you could do as a test, is install the 2.0 version in demo mode (just don't activate it) and try it with the sites you are having issues with.
Then at least you will know if 2.0 fixes the problem and you can revert to 1.5.1 at any point with the installer provided above.

Well I purchased and downloaded version 2 and it completely disabled Safari. I had to reinstall the older version. I think I have had it, regarding this product. Can I get a refund for version 2?
