Best thing to do is download and install the 2.0 version and then trial test the site you are asking about, to find out whether it does or doesn't work for you specifically.
If it does not, then can you can revert to the previous version (it will be uninstalled and overwritten when you install 2.0). If you do want to install the 1.5.1 version again, you can download the installer here: http://download.shedworx.com/jaksta/beta/Jaksta-1.5.1.pkg

Thanks! Due to some incompatibilities with other sites, I actually run an older version of Jaksta (1.3.3) as I've found the newer versions didn't work in a few places. Is it possible to find that older version in case I need to revert?

Unfortunately we no longer have the installers for the old versions. You might be able to find links to the installers if you search through the forums going back a number of years, but the links may have become defunct in the time since.

I've seen previous reports about how it doesn't work, and there's a discussion on the windows forum about the same. It looks like it might have been patched and/or you have to ensure your settings are just right, but can someone verify that v2 is actually able to download the full stream of a private chat on jasmin.com? I'm curious about this.
