Hi Ed,
Do you have your download and/or conversion folder locations set to an external drive? If you do, try changing the file destinations to somewhere on the main hard drive - even the Desktop should be OK.
That's generally what causes that error to come up.
Also, make sure that Jaksta is installed in the top level of your Applications folder. That can also cause problems.

When I enter an address in the media recorder, it downloads but then at the end it displays Error (Cross-Device link). No usable file results. Thanks
