Jaksta 2.0.3 Does not respect AlwaysRecordHttp and AlwaysRecordRTMP settings

The latest update to Jaksta does not respect the setting for recording HTTP or RTMP streams, and instead makes a second connection to the video, which breaks some sites that only allow one connection. The previous version did work for sites, and continues to work for them.

Hi Gil,

Can you please provide a link to a site/video that you encounter this problem with?

We will need to do some testing so that we can determine the cause.

This happens on all websites. You can verify by going to any youtube video, and then closing the video in the browser, and the download will continue. The website i use it for is streamate.com however u need an account in order to see the behavior of only being allowed to watch a single stream at a time

This only happens since version 2.0.3, in 2.0.1 the stream correctly stopped downloading after the browser was closed.

Hi Gil,

We have a new beta that has some changes in it that will hopefully resolve this issue.

Can you please give it a try and report on your results?

You can get the installer here: https://cdn.shedworx.com/jaksta/beta/2.1.0_249/JakstaMediaRecorder.pkg

I tried the beta, it seems to be working correctly again.
