We are currently trying to determine whether there has been a change to Chaturbate that is preventing Jaksta from working with it.
Can you please supply us with a clean log file to review?
To get a clean log, you will need to do the following:
- Open Jaksta Media Recorder
- Go to Preferences > General > Find Log File
- Close JMR but keep the Finder window with the log file open
- Delete the log file and still keep the Finder window open
- Reopen JMR (this will generate a new log file)
- Run one test on a standard video stream that you know gives an error/fails
- Close JMR once it fails or wait until it crashes
- Go back to the Finder window with the new log file and attach it here (don't copy and paste the code in it - send the file itself)
Here is a clean log that I just created. My version is Version 2.2.0 (254).

I just starting some cam4 and chaturbate viewing. This build of Jaksta is making files that have good video data. I'll look at it some more tomorrow and send you fresh logs. Thanks!
I made a clean log from downloading a single video from chaturbate. The video file it produced looked great. I'll record from cam4 tomorrow and upload the log for you.
I've attached a fresh log from about an hour recording from a single cam4 feed. The video file captured only about 23 minutes.

Glad to hear you are having some success. Getting playable files at the very least is the most important thing.
We have gotten good feedback for Chaturbate, so as long as that doesn't change then we can assume it is working again.
As for your test with cam4, it is a bit hard to know if the file duration was shorter than the test time because something happened with the connection or because Jaksta itself failed at some point.
The log file is also quite massive and bogged down with repeating code due to the duration of the recording, so it is quite difficult to pinpoint when and why something went wrong.
Could you please try doing another download for a lengthy period and then report your findings? Sending another clean log can only help as well.

As a user, do you feel that the problem has been resolved and that Jaksta now produces a satisfactory result?
I can say that Jaksta is downloading from Cam4 & Chaturbate. However I haven't had the time to do a proper QA regarding the completeness of the downloads or is Jaksta is disconnecting during long downloads. Unfortunately I am having to divert my attention to prepare for an extended trip abroad so I won't be able to fully test Jaksta until the middle of March.
We should be well past this issue (and probably several more) before March comes around, so no need to worry about anymore serious testing at that point (unless it starts having problems again).
What you have done so far has been very helpful.
