I will give you some general instructions, but if the problem continues then I am going to need some more detail.
Firstly, move any recordings from previous uses of JSR to a separate folder location so that they don't get lost/deleted.
Next, uninstall (delete from the Applications folder) whatever Screen Recorder apps you have on your Mac. If you have have shortcuts to them in your icon tray, move them to the Trash.
Then install the latest update for Screen Recorder from our site (download will start automatically) - https://www.jaksta.com/download/mac/jaksta-screen-recorder
Then run the newly installed copy from Applications and test it out.
If the problem continues, please send through a screenshot of any errors as well as any points where it asks for a password. Provide written details with any images to help explain what has occurred.
the password updater wass asking for was for my mac.. lol i was not thinking when it asked. it working now. All good.

help!!! trying to upgrade Screen Recorder from 2.0.0 to 2.2.5 ???? Does not work keeps asking for password and now cannot use 2.0.0 keeps shutting down.
