It worked for me using Firefox, but I'm also running our latest beta. You are welcome to try it as well.

When you first attempt to run the installer you will receive a Mac OS notification saying that it can't be opened because it cannot be checked for malicious software. Click 'OK' and then go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General and click on 'Open Anyway' down the bottom. It will either run the installer or another similar notification as the first will appear and you just need to click 'Open' and then the installer will run.

Hi John,

Do you mean that nothing is detected and therefore there is no capture, or do you mean that you are still getting recording of empty files? There is a difference, and they would suggest different issues.

Hi John,

The date stamp on that file is from August 30th, which is before you had the beta to test. So to clarify, are you still getting empty files when you try to capture the stream using the bet?

If that is the case, I would suggest trying to make the capture using different browsers as this can soemtimes lead to different results.
